@Dnt-Hld-Meld-1245 My biggest gripe is when so-called "expert" players call hearts or clubs and then they don't pass the appropriate diamonds & spades back. If a partner calls hearts or clubs, I will always retain the spade Q and the diamond J and pass Aces & trump.

@Karleen ,
Very logical thinking.
The person winning the bid and having the "Primary" hand should want to get rid of junk cards when it comes to trick play so why they hold on to a 4 point pino like you just mentioned when they called for hearts or clubs makes absolutely no sense. That 4 pts is the same in their hand or ours so why keep that non-power card junk?

Also, anyone who has been my partner in the past knows most times I try to build meld in the "Secondary" hand (my partner) too so passing a junk 4 pt pino may turn in to a 30 pointer for a double if they have a pino too!!!...haha.

Yeah, I'll pass kings, queens and jacks of some suits hoping to make 4 of a kinds in partners hands over just trying to strip myself of a suit sometimes. I send back extra trump cards to do that too...!!! Because most times it works especially for a KQ marriage all around in my partner's hand for 24 points...Boom!

Good luck, hooe we are partners soon.

P.S. I have asked @Josh to raise the values again to be able to play on what you aptly call "so called expert tables". It is nothing for a newbie player to get 200 rating and a Trend percent of higher than 44% to make it to the Expert Table to ruin our games till they become more experienced. I really think there should be three tiers if Josh is concerned we may alienate some Newbs if the bar is raised too fast or too high.

How about:
Beginner = 0 Rating, 0% Trend
Intermediate = 500 Rating, 50% Trend
Expert = 1000 Rating, 70% Trend

Our current challenge is volume of traffic as you may see regarding waiting times for any table now. We (you, I, and other good players) need to increase word of mouth and bringing in traffic BUT... after these changes plus others I have suggested are implemented...the site needs more exposure.

Thanks,

@Charles ,
Earlier this morning we were partners for a very short game...

First I want to complement you on an awesome Win-Loss Record and Rating. Yours is extremely similar to mine.

Also, I think we were instant great partners too. I added you to Friends list and hope you add me too.

How did you like us taking every trick for the 50 table points?...lol.

Sorry I quut game but I could not stay for TWO.....TWO Double Family Runs they were given in a row. I know you had no way of knowing but the first time they did it I only had one Club..the 10 of Clubs.

The second of tgeir double runs IN A ROW had me with NO CLUBS dealt to my hand.

Too odd of luck where they get two doubles because we were spanking them and Im only dealt three suits to give tgem their doubles so I quit that voodoo game...lol.

Best wishes and hope to see you again.
Hope you get this email to your registered email on file.

Thanks,

@Gail
We were just ripped off of our win...LOL
Can you believe that???? You know, I know and they know that whole game was ours.
The only way those two could beat you and I is...I hate to say...thru some interesting cards I have been seeing lately. How about you?

I mean come on....
The bidder has a monster hand and his partner has a double pino?!?!? And THEN they take every single trick to hit 150 on the nose to steal OUR game.

Very creative deck along with three other games I quit this week that just happened to have everything match up for other team's passing and absolutely none for mine..

I guess Im not supposed to be winning so much since this downturn of consistent losing via horrendous deals and shuffles along with luck...good for them and bad for me doesnt fit my last 1000+ game pattern.

Sorry this happened to us.

You are a very good player and hope to see you...as my partner!...lol...soon again.

@Dee ,
We were just partners till you quit because I got us set one hand halfway thru the game around 260 points each. Why quit because you thought we would lose? You are a fool. I won that game with "Marvin" the A.I. computer that took your place. And guess what? He bid and won a successful bid...took control and did well...as a fill-in computer in your spot!!! You never took a bid the whole time yet you have a great win record. Why? All you had to do was bid. If you had a hand you liked then keep bidding even if I bid and they dropped where you had to bid one more time to take control. BID YOUR HAND...if it warrants playing it then bid it over me and I have absolutely no problem with that... but if youbare hust going to sit there then somebody has to bid to win... and that was me and that was me on a bad hand for us to stay even with them and i got set...
BUT...I came back like I will always do and won.

Next time, Dee, dont quit on us. You are a good player especially IF you bid too.

@Hogue
@Matt
You two were just partners against me and my partner a few minutes ago (ref: date & time stamp of this posting).

You should have noticed by now that when I play I almost always give positive comments and end of each hand for both teams and have NEVER made any comments when my competitors go bust on a hand since that would be ignorant. I dont comment on the good hands as much anymore since it seems most of our members are just either mean, ignorant, or bad sportmen since I RARELY get comments back except the types you two exhibited especially at the very last hand of game.

My partner and I beat you 628 to 229 and "Hogue" makes the comment I got lucky? It doesn't matter if you meant on winning the whole game or just that last hand but you are totally wrong either way.

"Matt" makes the last comment of "Seriously?" in astonishment that either we won or I made my bid...of 55 with hand total points of 100+...

Why would any of you use the "You got lucky" comment on me if I seriously did not and dont deserve that slight? IN FACT, if you know me and how I play & treat both the players and the game then you would have witnessed that I point out when I got lucky or it was my mistake or not my best effort...all by the great selection of comments Josh has provided us.

Lastly, maybe you should look at the type of melds I get and MAKE both in my hand & my partner's hand. In fact, that last hand you think I got lucky with was a "Double Four of a Kind" in Kings (88 pts.) but before the pass I did not have all eight needed yet I called the right suit to make it happen. Also, I had a "Double Family Run" (150 pts) because I regularly look for how to create one.

And there is a fair amount of times I build a significant amount of meld in my partner's hand by passing back meld BUILDING cards instead of just junk.

And this win of 628 pts was a partnership wherein my partner did a great job all around in skills and play.

So next time how about we only comment on reality and if I get lucky then lets all state it since I have no problem with the truth.

@Josh ,
I see the game app cannot be trusted for fair play anymore. With even less playing now than a year ago I see that others must have noticed the magical adjustments too.

I have quit twice in a row.... or maybe it is 2 of 3 I have quit most recently. If it is twice in a row then the magic goes even further. Thats means my last 4 or 5 hands I have bid on I lost to a higher big of 80, 85, or 90. The other team takes the bid and magically gets a 150 point double run. Now what makes me say "magic^ is that in BOTH RECENTLY QUIT GAMES the last two hands had 150 point double runs IN A ROW....BACK-TO-BACK. And while one of the four opposing players in total of the 2 teams with magical game-ending double runs had a good career win/loss record... the other 3 are pitiful with win/loss records exceeding a ratio of 1:2 (W:L). More magic was present since they know how I bid and play but all of a sudden are beating me out of bids with high 80s or low 90s when they ALWAYS swim in cooler waters of 60-70... hmmm ... that tells me they already had the double runs before passing cards and while bidding since none have the nerve to bid that high on an unsure thing..!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your game cant be trusted anymore. I have quit more frequently lately than I ever had or ever would... And Im not the only one from what I have seen.I also noticed a lot of old players with thousands of games played arent here anymore either. Hmmmm.

@dullboy,
We were just Partners in a game and I quit the game in the first-hand simply because you decided that the meld points in your hand, which is the secondary hand, is much more important than the primary hand (the bid winner). I know I've seen you do this before where you hold on to cards in your hand which are minimal points and screw us each time when we could have had a lot more points if you just played correctly. You held on to the king In Trump that I needed for a marriage to meet the minimum rule but I didn't get it and system was going to fail us. So I quit your ass because you are an idiot..
You are never supposed to hold on to cards that are needed in the primary hand, especially trump cards. I don't plan on being your partner ever again. Have fun playing incorrectly.
